Summit Construction Inc. is performing interior construction work for the new Planet Fitness location in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, which is scheduled to open soon. The project involves the build-out of a modern fitness facility designed to meet Planet Fitness brand standards and operational needs.
Summit’s scope of work includes rough carpentry and framing, installation of doors, frames, and hardware, gypsum drywall, and acoustical ceiling systems. Additional work includes FRP installation, specialties, wall and corner guards, fire extinguishers, and toilet accessories throughout the space. All work is being completed in coordination with other trades to ensure a clean, functional, and code-compliant facility ready for opening.
