The Winchester Virginia Temple is a 30,000-square-foot facility currently under construction in Winchester, Virginia. The project is being built on an approximately 11-acre site and will serve members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout the northern Virginia region, as well as portions of West Virginia and Maryland. This temple will be the second built in the state of Virginia.

Summit’s scope of work includes glass fiber reinforced concrete, cold-formed metal framing, and rough carpentry. Summit is also performing exterior gypsum sheathing, thermal insulation, cement fiber panels, and veneer plaster/stucco systems. Interior work includes gypsum drywall, acoustical ceilings, specialties, access doors, and the installation of doors, frames, and hardware throughout the building. All work is being completed in coordination with other trades to meet project design, quality, and performance requirements as construction progresses.
