Summit Construction Inc. is proud to be contributing to the development of the Howard Community College Workforce Development & Trades Center, a state-of-the-art facility designed to support hands-on education and training for the region’s growing skilled trades workforce. Scheduled to open in Fall 2026, the center will provide flexible, modern learning environments that align with industry standards and evolving workforce needs.
Summit’s scope of work includes cold-formed metal framing, rough carpentry, exterior gypsum sheathing, vapor barriers, and thermal insulation, forming a durable and energy-efficient building envelope. Interior work encompasses access doors, gypsum drywall, acoustical ceilings, acoustic wall treatments, specialty ceilings, and FRP installations, all carefully executed to support functionality, durability, and acoustic performance across classrooms, labs, and training spaces.
Through precise coordination and quality craftsmanship, Summit is helping deliver a high-performance educational facility that will serve students, instructors, and the broader community for years to come.
